Advanced Audio Rentals Works with Atto Technology to Develop Time-Saving New Storage Solution for ProTools HD
Advanced Audio recently worked with the experts at Atto Technology to outfit the Mac G5s used in its Pro Tools HD rental systems with dual Atto SAS adapter cards, quad bay ESATA enclosures, and 1TB SATA-based removable hard drives — allowing for recording and play back of Pro Tools HD sessions while simultaneously backing up session data. An Advanced Audio exclusive, these rental computers with unique dual SAS adapter cards can be an incredible time saver for Pro Tools HD sessions. Furthermore, their RAID mirroring affords an extra layer of redundancy.
According to Advanced Audio founder Paul Levy, "With this system, all back up chores are being done during the session. So there's no more hanging around for hours doing backups after everyone else has gone home!" The Atto-Equipped G5's are available for immediate rental.
