Advanced Audio First to rent Avid HD MADI Interface

Advanced Audio recently added the Avid HD MADI ProTools HD Interface to its' arsenal of post-production rental gear. The HD MADI Interface allows up to 64 channels of MADI I/O to connect directly to Avid ProTools HD Core and Accel cards. Advanced Audio owner Paul Levy comments: 

"The Avid HD MADI interface is a huge time saver for rental system installations that we do in post studios who utilize the Avid/Euphonix System 5 digital console. The SRC on BOTH the inputs and outputs solved a huge problem we had when clients wanted to do SRC, especially at high sample rates. In the past, all we had available to convert AES digital signals was the Euphonix 727, which has very good SRC, but at high sample rates we had to chase down digital snats and ticks which can take the entire session down. The very first session we used the Avid HD MADI went perfectly, and there hasnt been one tick or pop heard since."
