StorCase Technology's Data Silo DS321 FireWire enclosure was created to provide a durable, 2-bay housing for 3.5-inch fixed or removable IDE devices interfacing to FireWire 800 hosts. A unique product in that it can be used either as a desktop or rack-mount enclosure. The DS321 comes standard with two StorCase Data Express DE110 removable drive carriers pre-integrated into each of its bays.

 

This model has (2) Hitachi 250Gb IDE hard drives mounted inside the DE110 carriers.

FEATURES:

The DS321 is a hybrid desktop or 1U rack mount enclosure designed to house two low-profile, 3.5 inch Ultra ATA/100, fixed or removable IDE drives. 

 

Removable drive models include two StorCase Data Express DE110 IDE drive carriers. 

 

Each DS321 is pre-wired and provides two, dual-port FireWire host connections each incorporating one Oxford 911 FireWire-to-IDE chipset. 

 

As with all Data Silo enclosures, the DS321 is designed for durable, reliable, high-capacity storage. The DS321 comes equipped with an auto-ranging, enhanced, 40W power supply and one ultra-quiet fan.
